4.5 Stars!!!

I don’t know how she does it, but Susan Mallery always amazes me with her ability to write fresh and addictive novels that I absolutely devour!

Maggie has found true love for the second time! Forty years after her first wedding, Maggie is about to walk down the aisle once again. When her husband passed away decades ago, Maggie had to focus on her 3 little girls as well as busting her butt to make ends meet. With her wedding preparations coming to a head, Maggie and her three daughters, Rachel, Sienna and Courtney, come together to get every detail perfect! The three daughters are all at a crossroads in their own lives with issues such as their love, career, parenting (just to name a few)- they have some major decisions to make. Along with those decisions, the girls have unaddressed issues between themselves that have festered for years that need to be addressed stat!!

What a great read!!!! Daughters of the Bride had a nice combination of both romance and women’s fiction. I loved diving in all of the women’s lives and seeing what Ms. Mallery had planned for them. Each of the three daughters were so different, but I connected with them all. My favorite women from this novel had to be Joyce though, her spunk and determination at her age I found extremely endearing as well as admirable!! Daughters of the Bride is a 4.5 star book that would make perfect book to relax with on the beach! 1-click this gem now!!
