5 Stars!!!

Ohhhhhh my goodness!!! B.A. Paris is my absolute favorite mystery/thriller author and Bring Me Back is the perfect example of why! From the very beginning I had a couple conspiracy theories going on in my head, but the outcome I never saw coming and completely blew me away. The storyline was well thought-out and the pacing was perfect. I don’t want to get into details because it’s so much better to go into this novel blind, but I will say I can’t even count how many twists and turns surprised me- love that! Bring Me Back is a 5 star read that is unputdownable! I am already looking forward to reading B.A. Paris’s next novel!!

4 Stars!!!

What a captivating novel! The Myth of Perpetual Summer takes us on Tallulah James’s emotional journey through her childhood. Tallulah is wise beyond her years and forced to grow up early due to the neglect of the people who should love her the most. With exception of her grandmother and her older brother, Tallulah didn’t have family she could count on, which in turn effected her decisions in life. We time hop between the past (1960’s) and present day (1970’s) to understand what exactly happened all those years ago and why some things were kept secret for so long—wow!

I connected with Susan Crandall’s writing style immediately. The storyline was well thought out and flowed amazingly. This book was so well written that it played out like a movie in my mind so therefore I have mentally already picked out the entire cast lol! Being that this is the first novel that I’ve read from Susan Crandall, I am excited to dive into her prior novels asap!

Jar of Heart is the first book I have read by Jennifer Hillier. I am always optimistically worried but wow this book was good! This book was so different than what I was expecting! Jennifer writes between two present and past and also gives the reader different POVs which kept me glued to my kindle.

Jennifer Hillier does a good job with this thriller. I look forward to read more from her!

The Summer I Met Jack by Michelle Gable is a interested story about a love affair we never knew about between JFK and Alicia Darr. Alicia is a young immigrant who’s crosses paths with a young and handsome man in Cape Cod. That young man was a congressman names JFK. The naïve Alicia takes a job at the infamous Kennedy compound.  She is truly so young and naïve so the things that happened while working at the compound shocks her.

WOW this book is TWISTED but amazing!

You will find out the who done it right away and then work your way backwards for the why, how and back story of everyone involved in this sick twister tale! I was glued to my kindle! The backstories were WOW…no words! This story was very twisted and sick yet I was still able to sleep after reading each night so that is a major bonus!

Liz Nugent is fast becoming one of my favorite writers. Her books always have a storyline that is so unique and jaw dropping! Lying in Wait is a summer must read!!

5 Stars!!!

Loved this book!!! The Southern Eclectic series has quickly become one of my top favorites and Ain’t She a Peach is a perfect example of why! In the novella Peachy Flippin’ Keen, Molly Harper does a fantastic job of setting the reader up to dive straight into this full length gem!

First off, how fabulous are these book titles!?!? Secondly, the characters are completely endearing and well developed, to the point while reading this series you totally forget that you don’t actually know these people in real life- LOVE THAT! If you love novels based in small towns, than this is the book for you, but honestly, it’s so much more than that. Molly Harper’s has created a storyline with a lot of depth and a lot of humor all within a cozy little town where everyone knows your name… and your business! I can’t recommend this 5 star read enough! If you want the perfect beach read, look no further than Ain’t She a Peach!

5 Stars!!!

Oh, how I love getting lost in Mia Sheridan’s novels! Mia’s books are always a sure thing for me so I went into More Than Words completely blind! I was entranced from the beginning and I LOVED the way she told Callen and Jessie’s journey- just brilliant! The storyline was addictive and in true Mia Sheridan fashion there is an enormous amount of “feels” throughout the novel—-my heart literally hurt at times! I also really enjoyed the story within the story- added so much! More Than Words is a 5+++ star read that I can promise will be one of the select few novels that stay with you! If you are looking for a standalone novel that will knock your socks off, than More Than Words is the book for you! An absolute MUST READ!

Tell Me Lies by Carola Lovering

5 Stars!!!

What a read! Carola Lovering has really wow’ed me with her debut novel, Tell Me Lies! Let me say if I hadn’t researched what other novels I can read from Carola, I would have had no clue she wasn’t a seasoned veteran!!! Everyone has either been the person, or has known someone who has fallen for the wrong guy, well this novel takes that concept to whole other level. Although the novel isn’t short, I found myself glued to my kindle to see how everything will play out and finished in record time. I was shocked by the very well timed twists and turns that had my eyes bulging out of my head! There was such a wide range of feelings I experienced while reading Tell Me Lies from wanting to give Lucy and huge hug, to other times I wanted to channel Cher and slap Lucy while screaming “snap out of it”! The characters were well developed and realistic – I haven’t been able to get them out of brain since I finished. Tell Me Lies is a full 5 star read that I recommend everyone read. I absolutely cannot wait to read what Carola Lovering comes out with next!
